The Perfect Onion Burger
(From College Kids Cook)

What you need :
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon catsup
- 4 hamburger buns
What you do:
Put the ground beef in the bowl. Add the 1/2 packet of dry onion soup mix and catsup. Mix together with a fork until it is blended well. If you use your hands to mix the meat, be sure to wash your hands very well before and after.
Make the ground beef into patties. To do this, place a ball of the meat mixture between two pieces of waxed paper and push it down with your hands. Or you can just form the shape with your hands. One pound of hamburger makes four medium-sized burgers.
Always cook ground beef to be well done. The center of the hamburger is usually where the beef is undercooked. Here is a trick. After you make the beef pattie, put a hole in the center by poking it with your clean finger. This way, the heat will move through the burger more evenly.
