Try making paper snowflakes-but instead of using regular copy paper that is sometimes hard to cut, try using parchment paper. We used regular kitchen parchment paper available at grocery stores. Just cut a piece of the paper to about 5x11 inches. Then accordian pleat the paper in 3/4-inch folds. Fold the pleated paper in half and cut a notch in the middle. Tie a ribbon or string at the notch. Now cut random shaped along the folds. Open up the paper and glue the sides together. Add a little glitter to the edges if you like.
